Description
The Ohio Cosmetology Renewal 3-Hours Class includes:
- Safety – 1-Hour
- Infection Control are addressed. 1-Hour (The environmental issues of safety are reviewed)
- Health and Safety Emergencies 1-Hour
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Individuals that hold a license for Ohio Cosmetologist, Advanced Cosmetologist, Cosmetologist Instructor, Esthetician, Advanced Esthetician, Esthetician Instructor, Manicurist, Advanced Manicurist, Manicurist Instructor, Hair Designer, Advanced Hair Designer, Hair Designer Instructor, Natural Hair Stylist, Advanced Natural Hair Stylist, Natural Hair Stylist Instructor, Managing Cosmetologist, Managing Esthetician, Managing Hair Designer, Managing Manicurist, Managing Natural Hair Stylist and Boutique Service Registration-Shampooing, Makeup Artistry, Braiding and Threading are required to complete the following hours of continuing education per license held for the 2020-2022 renewal period:
- One (1) hour/Board laws and rules Class: Free class only offered by the Board. CE Providers are not permitted to include Board laws and rules in CE courses.
- Three (3) hours/Safety and Infection Control
Licensees are required to have CE hours completed by January 15, 2023.
